If you are here, you either already have the variable data (VDP) tool, or are looking into the process. Ultimate Impostrip doesn’t create the variable content or manage it, Ultimate Impostrip will help you produce in 1-up or multiple-up, your VDP jobs. Ultimate Impostrip takes your large VDP files and automate, in a time reducing fashion, the imposition and output to the press.

How do we work to streamline your process?

1.  Once you have prepared the variable data content and have placed it into your document, you will either get a very large PDF file, or an Optimized PDF file. In either case, only On Demand Digital  will manage to impose in Optimized PDF format, as well as output an Optimized PDF imposed file to maximize your time.

2.  If you wait for the entire VDP job to impose before printing, chances are, you will experience the feared “idle” mode. On Demand Digital helps you start sending your job to your RIP/Press faster by letting you create small groups within your job and sending them one by one to your RIP. This feature, called Group Signature, will ease the pressure off your RIP for one and let you start printing before the entire job is ready. (as shown in graph above)

3.  The new Barcode option allows you to insert barcodes where you want including the sheet or page information as well as other types of info.

4.  Hot Folder automation allows you to integrate the imposition process with your workflow easily and efficiently. Create your folders once and re-use many times. On Demand Digital can reside on your server and drive multiple digital printers so you can have an automated unified digital printing workflow.
